Francesca trained as a fine artist in Italy and the UK. She specialises in painting wildlife and landscapes, promoting the alliance of art with conservation. Her work is exhibited in the UK, USA and East Africa. Francesca has a studio in London but spends much of her time in the African bush and British outdoors, studying from life and has completed many commissions for clients in America, Europe and the UK.
Ralph Lauren and Purdey's have hosted exhibitions of Francesca's work and she is a trustee for the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, UK. In 2018 she arranged a panel discussion on conservation at Bonhams.
In 2015 Francesca was chosen as one of the artists for the Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year. She has won several finalist prizes and commendations such as the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year 2013 (finalist and commended) and for the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year 2012 and 2014 (finalist with two paintings in each year). Francesca is also a commissioned war artist and completed an embed in Afghanistan in December 2013.
