Emily Lamb British, b. 1985

I am a translator. It is that simple. I see, I feel, therefore I do.

Lamb uses an expressive technique with bold use of colour and medium. She takes inspiration from nature and her extensive travels, particularly to Africa. She is passionate about conservation as well as art, and works hard to continue the legacy of her grandfather David Shepherd. As well as being an active board member and advocate of the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) Art for Survival Programme, she has been involved with several other conservation initiatives.

Recently Lamb's subject matter has expanded to include more studies of the human form in motion.
