Sam started his career in the art world in Melbourne, Australia, where he worked at the National Gallery of Victoria, before moving back to London to work at the Tate, followed by seven years at Dickinson and then Fine Art Society. Following this he was an Associate Director at Fine Art Commissions before setting up his own art advisory business before joining Rountree Tryon in 2025 to manage their new London gallery.
