At the inaugural edition of The Treasure House Fair in June 2023, Rountree Tryon Galleries exhibits works by several of the finest artists in its specialist genres of sporting, maritime, and wildlife art. Highlights include equine works by George Stubbs, ARA (1724-1806) and Sir Alfred Munnings PRA, RWS (1878-1959); maritime paintings by Richard Paton (1717-1791) and Nicholas Matthew Condy (1816-1851); a portrait of King George VI by Sir Herbert James Gunn, RA (1893-1964); and wildlife paintings by Robert Bateman (b. 1930) and Keith Joubert (1948-2013).
