Our autumn show will feature recently acquired pictures in our specialist areas of Equine, Maritime, and Wildlife from the 18th century to contemporary. Highlights include a view of the royal yacht Victoria and Albert off Plymouth by Nicholas Matthew Condy (1816-1851) and a racing scene at Goodwood by Lionel Dalhousie Robertson Edwards, R.I. (1878-1966). In addition, the show includes some wonderful British Impressionist paintings by Sir George Clausen, R.A., R.W.S., H.R.B.A. (1852-1944) and Cyrus Cincinato Cuneo, R.O.I. (1879-1916), as well as a striking society portrait by Sir Oswald Hornby Joseph Birley (1880-1952).
