Here we see Eleonora ghosting to the finish line on a sultry evening in St. Tropez. Eleonora is a replica built in 2000 for Ed Kastelein of the world famous 1910 Nathaniel Herreshoff designed Westward.
After a great day's racing, the wind died and the fleet were left to drift to the finish line under a moody sky. With the sun dropping behind the clouds, the light mist created a wonderful atmosphere with the gradation of far off hills barely visible in the distance adding to the scene. In the distnace (already having finished) you can see Lulworth, Cambria, Mariguita and Altair.
