Established in 1959, we specialise in four specific areas of art, from 18th Century to the present day.
Sporting Fine Art and Wildlife Art: including horses, racing, dogs, hunting, shooting, fishing, wildlife and ornithological paintings.
Maritime Fine Art: including historical paintings, naval battles, expeditionary, ships portraits, naval portraits, and maritime watercolours.
Topographical paintings: documenting historical views of urban and rural landscapes from the 18th Century to the present day.
Contemporary paintings: featuring a number of artists following in the tradition of the Sporting and Maritime genre.
Our sporting art collection includes sporting artists Sir Alfred Munnings, George Stubbs, Cecil Aldin, Archibald Thorburn, Francis Sartorius, Ben Marshall, John Ferneley Senior, George Lodge and others.
